GE radio-phonograph combination-752

Picked up this 50s Console from a neighbor.
I think this will be more my speed on learning how to work on these things.
It is a Tube Radio Amp and Turntable. No circuit boards.

It is a GE radio-phonograph combination-752. One website said it was made in 1950, another said 1952. I will try and get some numbers off the transformers and see if I can find out when they were made.

I will post images and progress on restoring this as I go.

Im not sure when I will get to it, I need to get some more tools and test equipment. I want to make sure I don't make it worse than it is.
I have not plugged it in yet.

CB radios

So I have a number of CB radios that do not work. These 2 do not power on at all.
Figured I would try and fix them, and practice replacing capacitors.

I read, that it might just be a bad diode or something. Im just keeping these stock, just replace parts to see if I can get them to work.

After opening them up and looking, I may need to start with something easier to work on. But these are just junk I have and no valuable.

Console

Guess I needed another project....
Ive been interest in getting into electronics repair. I picked up a 1964 console to play with. The price was low enough to where I can learn on this and not worry about messing it up.

I have it in the garage, I need to take a picture of the front of it. It looks pretty cool.
Magnavox Astro - Sonic radio

The Turn table says Micromatic on it.

I found a brochure online.
here is a link to that website, they have a lot of examples of old consoles. You should check that site out.
